About the BMW Motorcycle Club of Ottawa
Welcome to the BMW Motorcycle Club of Ottawa website. We're first and foremost a BMW motorcycle club but our practice has been to include people that ride other brands who enjoy the same activities and share the same values as our members. The Club was created in 1983. We became the first motorcycle chapter of the BMW Club of Canada (BMWCC) in 2006. We have also been a chapter of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMWMOA #145) and the BMW Riders Association (BMWRA #68) since 1985.We'd like to answer as many of your questions as possible and have included some typical Q & A's below.
Feel free to come to an activity or one of our meetings to introduce yourself and meet our members.

BMW Club FAQ
(frequently asked questions):
Q. Where and when are the Club meetings?
A. See Calendar page to get the Club meeting information.
Also you can consult or download the Club Calendar.
Q. How do I contact the Club?
A. The quickest way is to go to the CONTACT Page and click on the buttons for the officer, director or various functions you're interested in and send an e-mail. You can also drop us a line at our mailing address.
Q. How will I know what's happening in the Club?
A. Visit the website. Upcoming events are listed on the main page with references to type of activities, meeting times and places.

Q. Do I have any obligations to the Club?
A. There are no obligatory activities. But we expect that members and their guests will conform to the riding conventions and practices of the Club. These are common sense measures that contribute to the safety and security of members participating in Club; for Activities and Events.
